Great American Exteriors installed new bluestone front walkway and exposed aggregate driveway, a new kitchen bay window with standing seem roof to add an accent to the back of the house.
We installed bluestone patio and walkway in back, installed exotic wood deck/steps with lighting, that flows into stone posts holding up pergola above the fire place and patio.
On the fireplace there are real antlers shedd from a moose the customer found in Alaska. Ironically the name of the stone we used on her project is called Moose Mountain.
The attention to detail on the fireplace shows custom red fire bricks inside the fire box, instead of the standard off-white color that is typically used. On top of the chimney is a custom glazed decorative chimney tile.
We also converted window in dining room to a door opining to the patio under the pergola next to the fireplace, we also added a sidewalk behind the fireplace so that you can enter the backyard thought a gate from the front, it takes you past the colored exposed aggregate texture driveway down the bluestone walkway between the pergola and pond to sit by the fire and enjoy the view.

  • Original 4″ aluminum siding was dented, chalking, conducting, & leaking
  • Incorrectly installed windows
  • Under sized gutters
  • Clogged downspouts causing water to back up rotting the wood under the soffit & fascia
  • The front porch settled causing the railings and porch beam to sag & come loose from the footing

After

  • Complete removal of original aluminum siding, fascia, soffit & gutters
  • Replaced all rotted wood reinstalled windows done incorrectly by previous contractor
  • Installed new casing on the interior windows, foamed, insulated, flashed, taped, installed insulated window lineals around all window and door openings on exterior integrating them into the siding for a much neater cleaner looking maintenance-free better performing home.
  • Wrapped entire home home with Raindrop house-wrap to prevent drafts and to allow home to breathe properly without trapping any moisture behind the siding.
  • Sided entire home with 6″ solid core Cedar Edge Insulated siding with insulated corner posts, heavy gauge PVC Fascia that will not wave or chalk, stealth vent soffit to allow attic to breathe properly, new shutters, oversize seamless gutters to keep the water away from the home, reattached porch railing to footing
  • Installed decorative bead-board soffit in the front porch ceiling to add a finishing touch to the home
